Sarah Katherine (Morgan) Cooper

Mrs. Sarah Katherine Morgan Cooper was born on December 28, 1936 in Alamance County, NC to Mr. Kime Granville Morgan and Mildred Taylor Morgan.  Sarah Katherine as she was affectionately called was educated in the Alamance School System and graduated in 1954 from the famous, Jordan Sellars High School, she continued her education at Alamance Community College earning a degree in Business Administration.  Mrs. Sarah Katherine was gainfully employed with GE in Mebane NC and she also worked for over 10 years in Home Healthcare.

She was married to Mr. Bobby James Cooper and they were the proud parents of three children, Robert B. Cooper and twins, Donnell E. Cooper and Darlene K. Cooper.  Mrs. Sarah Katherine  was a faithful member of Morgantown Baptist Church for many years, serving in the Senior Choir and as a Missionary.

Her life and legacy will be forever cherished by her children, Robert B. Cooper (Irene) of Georgia and Darlene Cooper Boler of Charlotte; three grandchildren, Renaldo B. Cooper, DJ Cooper and Tiffany Boler; a sister,  Elsie Mae Morgan Brown along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Mrs. Sarah Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Kime Sr. and Mrs. Mildred Morgan, her husband, Bobby Cooper, her son, Donnell E. Cooper and siblings, Peter Andrew Morgan, Kime Morgan, Jr., Nagessia Morgan Vincent ,Mary Christine Morgan Pulliam and Barbara Ann Morgan Alston and John L. Morgan.
